Gastech Gas Hose Tail 1/2″ Female

Description

A hose tail with a 1/2" female thread, used to connect a length of LP gas hose to a 1/2" male fitting in the 16mm multilayer gas system. Secure the hose on the tail with a proper gas hose clamp.

Use it only with 16mm (12/16) multilayer gas pipe and fittings of the same system, cut square and fully inserted before tightening. Gas installations must be done, pressure-tested and certified by a registered LP gas installer.

Used for:

• Hose connections to 1/2" male fittings
• Gas appliance points
• Braai and heater connections

Not for: Water plumbing – this fitting is for LP gas.

Sold each. Leak-test every joint with soapy water after fitting.
