Description

A 22mm pressure control valve from Evolution Valves, set at 400 kPa. It must be fitted on the cold-water supply to the geyser, where it reduces the supply pressure to what the geyser is rated for and balances hot and cold pressure at the taps.

Most geysers have a maximum working pressure, so match the valve to the geyser: this one suits 400 kPa geysers.

Used for:

New 400 kPa geyser installations
Replacing a faulty or leaking PCV
Matching valves when replacing a geyser
Balancing hot and cold pressure at mixers

Not for: 600 kPa geysers – use a 600 kPa valve.
