Description

A brass backnut that screws onto the thread under a 1/2″ pillar or basin tap to clamp it to the basin, sink or counter top. Brass does not crack under pressure like an old plastic nut can.

Fit the washer first, then tighten the backnut by hand and a final turn with a spanner. Do not over-tighten on ceramic.

Used for:

• Fixing pillar taps to basins and sinks
• Replacing a cracked plastic backnut
• Tap installations
