Eureka Tek Screw for Metal, T3 Tip, Full Thread 5.5 x 38mm – 250 Pack

Description

Eureka self-drilling tek screws with a T3 cut tip that drills its own hole in steel up to about 3mm, so no pilot hole is needed. The hex head is driven with a nut setter in a drill or impact driver.

Set the screw square to the sheet, start slowly and let the tip drill through before the thread takes. Do not overdrive, or the thread strips.

Used for:

• Fixing roof and wall sheeting to steel purlins
• Steel framing and brackets
• Fixing timber battens to light steel

Not for timber purlins; use T17 wood tek screws.
