Eureka hex-head dual-thread Tek screw with a T3 self-drilling tip, for fixing IBR and corrugated roof sheeting to steel purlins.
Description
The dual-thread shank drills through the sheeting and into the steel structure below. A break in the thread lets it spin in the sheeting while it drills the steel, and the short top thread then holds the sheet firmly without distorting it.
Install with a power drill and nutsetter below 1,500 rpm, held at 90°. Do not drill through welded joints, and choose a length that passes through both layers with enough grip.
Combined steel thickness should not exceed 5mm.
Used for:
- IBR and corrugated sheeting to steel purlins
- Flashings and cladding to steel
- General light steel construction
Not for timber structures (use T17 wood Tek screws).
Sold per pack of 200.
