Black phosphate coarse-thread drywall screw, Phillips drive, 4.8 x 60mm (#10), pack of 10, for fixing drywall to timber.
Description
A coarse-thread drywall screw with a standard Phillips head, made for fixing plasterboard to timber studs and battens. The black phosphate coating gives some corrosion resistance for indoor work.
Eureka recommends at least 25mm of the screw in the wood and driving it just flush with the board: overtightening breaks the paper face and weakens the fixing. A drywall bit makes it easier to set the depth. Interior use only.
Used for:
- Plasterboard to timber studs
- Ceiling boards to timber brandering
- General interior drywall fixing
Not for steel studs or outdoor use.
