Eureka Peeled Blind Rivet, Aluminium, 4 x 15mm – 20 Pack

Description

A peeled rivet splits into several petals on the blind side as it is set, spreading the load over a wide area. That makes it the rivet to use when fixing a hard material to a soft or brittle one, such as metal to plastic, because it is far less likely to crack or pull through the base material than a standard open rivet.

Drill the pilot hole size given on the packet and set with a rivet gun fitted with the correct nozzle. Eureka notes they give moderate corrosion protection and are not watertight.

Used for:

• Fixing sheet metal to plastic and fibreglass
• Caravan, trailer and canopy repairs
• Signs, vents and trims on soft panels

Pack of 20.
