Description
Eureka multi-angle bits have nine cutting edges, so they can drill straight, forwards, backwards and sideways, and cut curves. They form holes, rebates and countersinks at any angle and can mill channels and cuts in timber.
This makes them ideal when installing mortise locks, where the opening must be enlarged and squared after the first hole. Hold the drill firmly, start straight, then tilt or move the bit sideways to shape the cut; take light passes rather than forcing it.
Used for:
- Mortise lock pockets
- Rebates, channels and countersinks in wood
Not for metal or masonry.
