Eureka black oxide HSS drill bit, a good all-rounder for mild steel, copper, aluminium, wood and plastics. Sizes 2mm to 13mm.
Description
A general-purpose high speed steel bit with a black oxide coating for heat and corrosion resistance. The 118° point suits mild steel, wood and plastics.
Keep the speed low and lubricate the tip when drilling metal, so the cutting edges are not blunted by heat. In wood, pull the bit back often to clear sawdust.
For stainless or hard steel, choose a cobalt bit instead.
Used for:
- Mild steel, copper and aluminium
- Sheet metal and brackets
- Wood, chipboard and plastics
- Pilot holes for screws
Not for stainless steel, hard metals or masonry.
Sold per Eureka retail pack. The pack quantity is shown in each option.
