35mm Forstner bit for clean, flat-bottomed holes such as concealed kitchen hinge cups.
Description
The Eureka 35mm Forstner bit is the standard size for drilling the main mounting hole for modern concealed kitchen unit hinges. It cuts a clean, flat-bottomed hole in most woods and wood composites such as chipboard and MDF.
The bit is guided mainly by its outer rim rather than the centre spur, so it can drill accurate holes at an angle and does not follow the grain. Use it in a drill stand or with a depth stop for hinge cups, run at moderate speed and lift out regularly to clear chips.
Used for:
- Concealed hinge cups in kitchen doors
- Flat-bottomed holes in wood and board
Not for metal or masonry.
