Bonded sealing washer 6 x 25mm, EVA foam on galvanised steel, pack of 10, for a watertight seal under roofing screws.
Description
A sealing washer made of EVA foam bonded to a galvanised steel plate. The foam seals around the screw or nail shank to keep water out, while the steel plate spreads the load and shields the foam from the sun.
Fit one under the head of each roofing screw or nail and tighten until the foam just starts to spread past the plate edge. Do not overtighten, or the seal squeezes out and can split.
Used for:
- Roof sheeting screws
- Sealing fixings on IBR and corrugated roofs
- Outdoor fixings through sheet metal
Not a structural washer for bolted joints.
