Emjay Poly Insert Male Adaptor 15mm x 1/2″ BSP

Description

This Emjay insert male adaptor has the brand’s registered barb on one end, which pushes into 15mm poly pipe, and a 1/2″ BSP male thread on the other. It is a common take-off from a manual or solenoid valve, or a way onto a threaded tap fitting.

Emjay makes these from black nylon with carbon black for UV resistance in full sun. Use them on SABS 533 Class 3 or Class 6 pipe and fit a hose clamp over the barb so the joint cannot blow off under pressure.

Used for:

• Connecting garden poly pipe to valves
• Irrigation take-offs
• Threading poly lines into taps or filters

Not for PVC solvent-weld pipe.
