A 250 mm cold chisel with a 19 mm cutting edge, for cutting steel, rivets and bolts and chasing masonry.
Description
A forged, hardened steel cold chisel with an octagonal shank. Struck with a club hammer, it cuts through rusted bolts, rivets, sheet metal and chain, and chips and chases brick, block and concrete.
Wear safety goggles and gloves. Grind off any mushrooming on the striking head to stop chips flying, and keep the cutting edge sharp.
Used for:
- Cutting seized bolts and rivets
- Chasing walls for conduit and pipes
- Chipping concrete and removing tiles
- Cutting sheet metal and chain
