Description
Eureka auger bits are made for large, long holes in hardwood and produce much neater and more accurate holes than spade bits. A wide chisel-like cutting edge lifts the waste, while an outer spur scores the timber just ahead of it for a clean hole edge.
The deep, flat spiral flute clears the chips quickly and keeps the hole straight and parallel, so little force is needed even on deep holes. Withdraw the bit regularly on very deep holes to clear the flute. The 300mm length suits drilling through beams, posts and stacked timber for cables, pipes and bolts.
Used for:
- Holes through beams and posts for bolts
- Cable and pipe runs through timber
Not for metal, masonry or nail-embedded timber.
