Description
Javelin bi-metal holesaws cut clean round holes in sheet steel, aluminium, wood, board and plastic, for example for pipes, cable glands, downlights, door locks and conduit entries. The bi-metal construction combines hard cutting teeth with a flexible body that resists breaking. Available in 16mm, 29mm and 40mm diameters. A holesaw needs an arbor with pilot drill, sold separately unless stated.
Fit the holesaw to a suitable arbor, clamp the work, drill at low speed with cutting oil on metal, and ease off as the saw breaks through. Wear eye protection and clear the core out after each hole.
