Angle Grinder Backing Pad 180mm

Description

A backing pad supports fibre sanding discs on an angle grinder. It gives the disc a firm base so it cuts evenly when grinding welds, removing rust or shaping metal and wood.

Fit the pad onto the spindle, place the fibre disc over it and secure it with the clamping nut. Check that the pad and disc are rated for your grinder speed and keep the guard fitted. Wear eye and hand protection.

Used for:

• Fibre disc sanding
• Weld cleaning
• Rust removal

Not for hook-and-loop discs.
