A magnetic welding holder rated at 75 lb pull, for holding steel at set angles while you tack and weld.
Description
An arrow-shaped magnetic holder that holds flat bar, tube and plate at 45°, 90° and 135° for welding, so both hands are free. It is rated at 75 lb (about 34 kg) magnetic pull.
Keep the magnet faces clean of spatter and filings. Keep it away from the arc where possible, and away from phones, cards and electronic equipment.
Used for:
- Holding steel at 90° for tack welding
- Setting 45° and 135° joints in gates and frames
- Holding parts while drilling or marking
- Fabrication and burglar-bar work
