A Waldo 200 mm round file, second cut, supplied with a handle, for opening up holes and filing curves in metal.
Description
A 200 mm round file with a second-cut (medium) tooth, sold with a handle fitted, from the Waldo range of Oswald Brothers. Second cut takes metal off at a fair rate but still leaves a reasonably smooth surface.
File on the push stroke only and lift on the return. Clean clogged teeth with a file card and store files apart so the teeth do not chip.
Used for:
- Enlarging and shaping round holes in steel and aluminium
- Deburring the inside of cut tube and pipe
- Filing internal curves and slots
Not for: timber shaping. Use a rasp for wood.
Single file with handle. Sold each.
