Unitwist straight coupler with a male thread (1/2″ x 15mm), for joining pipe to a female threaded connection by hand.
Description
A PP-R straight coupler with a 1/2″ male thread on one end and a compression end for 15mm pipe on the other. The stainless-steel grip ring and high-heat EPDM O-ring seal even on scratched pipe, and the fitting is reusable.
Open the nut one and a half turns, push the pipe fully home (31mm for 15mm pipe, 36mm for 22mm) and hand-tighten. No tools, heat or thread tape.
Used for:
- Connecting pipe to female threaded valves, tees and tank outlets
- Hot and cold water supply lines
- Repairs and alterations on copper and PEX pipe
- Polycop garden and supply lines
