Totai brass gas hose tail with a 3/8″ female thread, for connecting LPG hose to a 3/8″ male fitting.
Description
A Totai brass hose tail with a 3/8″ female thread: the barbed tail goes into the gas hose and the female end screws onto a 3/8″ male fitting on a valve, regulator or appliance.
Gas fittings must be installed and leak-tested properly: use gas-rated thread sealant or PTFE tape made for gas, clamp hose with proper hose clamps, and test every joint with soapy water, never a flame. Fixed LPG installations must be done by a registered LP gas installer.
Used for:
- Connecting gas hose to 3/8″ male fittings
- Cooker, heater and braai connections
- Replacing worn hose tails
