Titan PTFE Thread Tape 12mm x 0.1mm

Description

Titan thread tape is a PTFE (Teflon-type) thread seal tape, 12mm wide and 0.1mm thick, sold as a high-density, professional tape for making leak-proof seals on threaded connections in plumbing, garden and general use. Wrapped around male threads before assembly, it fills the gaps in the thread and lubricates the joint so it tightens properly.

Wrap clockwise when looking at the end of the thread, three to five turns, keeping it tight, then screw the fitting on. Do not use on gas or oxygen fittings unless the tape is rated for it.

Used for:

• Taps and fittings
• Garden fittings
• Threaded pipe joints

Sold per roll.
