Stanley 250mm steel fixer’s (end-cutting) pliers for twisting and cutting tie wire on rebar.
Description
Steel fixer’s pliers, also called concreter’s or Monier pliers, from Stanley, 250mm long. The rounded head twists tie wire tight around crossing reinforcing bars and the end-cutting jaws snip the tail off in the same movement.
The long handles give plenty of leverage for a full day of tying steel on slabs, beams and columns.
Used for:
- Tying rebar for slabs, footings and columns
- Cutting and twisting binding wire
- Fencing and mesh work
Not for cutting heavy steel or hardened wire.
