Spanjaard Engineering Marking Blue 350ml

Description

A dark blue layout dye for metal. Spray a thin, even coat from 10 to 20 cm onto a clean, oil-free surface and let it dry. Scribed lines then show up as bright metal against the blue. Spanjaard state it dries fast and resists water. Fitters also use it to find high spots on bearings and mating faces.

Remove it with a petroleum-based solvent. The aerosol is extremely flammable: use it with good ventilation, away from flames, and store it away from heat and direct sun.

Used for:

• Marking out steel and aluminium before cutting or drilling
• Scribing layout lines in fabrication
• Checking bearing and surface contact (high spots)

Not for: ground, grass or road marking. This is an engineering dye, not a line-marking paint.
