Sleeve Anchor 8 x 40mm

Description

A sleeve anchor is a bolt with an expanding steel sleeve. Pushed into a drilled hole and tightened, the sleeve spreads and grips the masonry, so it holds brackets, gates and fittings in brick, block and concrete.

Drill the hole to the anchor diameter and a little deeper than the anchor, blow out the dust, tap the anchor in through the fitting and tighten the nut firmly.

Used for:

• Brackets and shelving in masonry
• Gate and burglar-bar fixings
• Handrails and fittings on concrete
