A flat-tip screwdriver, 5.5 mm tip and 200 mm blade, with a green handle.
Description
A slotted screwdriver with a 5.5 mm tip and a long 200 mm blade for reaching recessed screws. The stock description starts with ELS, the same as our 8101B screwdriver, but we could not confirm the maker, and there is no sign that it is VDE insulated.
Pick a tip that fills the slot and keep the shaft in line with the screw while you turn. The long shaft gives reach rather than torque, so do not lever on it.
Used for:
- Recessed screws in appliances and panels
- Furniture and cabinet fittings
- General slotted screws in hard-to-reach spots
Not for: live electrical work, prying or chiselling.
