A straight router bit with a 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) cutting diameter, for cutting narrow grooves and slots in wood.
Description
A straight bit cuts a flat-bottomed groove the same width as the bit. At 1/8 inch it is one of the narrowest bits, for small slots, inlay and fine detail work. Our stock data does not give the shank size, cutting length or maker, so check that it fits your router collet.
Make several shallow passes rather than one deep cut, as a thin bit snaps easily. Feed against the rotation of the bit and keep the base flat on the work.

- Inlay and decorative line work
- Small dado cuts in thin stock
