Resin Fibre Disc 115 x 22mm, Grit 60, Slotted

Description

A resin fibre sanding disc for angle grinders, used with a rubber backing pad (sold separately). The stiff vulcanised fibre backing and aluminium oxide grain remove weld seams, rust, mill scale and old paint fast on steel.

The slotted pattern helps the disc run cooler and lets you see the work through it. Grit 60 is a good middle grade for removing rust and blending welds. Check that the maximum speed marked on the disc is at least the no-load speed of your machine, keep the guard on, and wear eye protection, gloves and a dust mask.

Used for:

• Removing rust, scale and old paint
• Blending welds and shaping metal
• Preparing steel for painting

Not for use without a backing pad.
