Qualitools 200 mm side cutting pliers, drop forged from tool steel, for cutting wire and cable.
Description
200 mm side cutters (diagonal pliers). Qualitools state they are drop forged from high-grade tool steel, individually induction hardened, with tempered cutting jaws, a chrome-plated satin finish, a lacquered anti-corrosion surface and double-dipped rubber handles.
Cut near the joint for the most force. The rubber handles are for grip only: they are not insulated for live work. Keep the joint lightly oiled.
Used for:
- Cutting copper cable and wire
- Cutting tie wire on rebar
- Trimming cable ties and soft steel wire
Not for: hardened steel, piano wire or live circuits.
