Qualitools aviation tin snips, right-cutting, for sheet metal up to 1.2mm, made to DIN 6438.
Description
Compound-lever aviation snips made to DIN 6438 that cut sheet metal up to 1.2mm with much less effort than plain tin snips. This right-cut pair curves to the right and has colour-coded vinyl grips.
The spring-loaded handles open after each cut. Keep the waste on the side of the cut it curls to, and wear gloves because cut sheet edges are sharp.
Used for:
- Cutting gutters, flashings and ducting
- Sheet metal and roof sheeting
- Curved cuts in thin metal
