50mm PVC soil and vent bend at 90° with an inspection end, so the bend can be opened and rodded if it blocks.
Description
A 50mm PVC soil-and-vent bend that turns the run through 90° and has a screw-capped inspection end on the outside of the bend. 50mm is the usual size for kitchen sink, washing machine and combined basin-and-shower wastes, and bends are where those lines block with grease and lint, so an access point at the turn saves breaking out pipe later.
Solvent-weld it to square-cut, deburred pipe, and set it so the inspection cap faces where you can reach it with a rod.
Used for:
- Kitchen sink and washing-machine wastes
- Changes of direction on 50mm waste runs
- Access points on runs prone to blockage
