PTFE Thread Seal Tape 19mm x 40m

Description

PTFE (plumber’s) tape wrapped round a male thread fills the gaps between the threads so the joint seals without paste. This large 19mm by 40m roll is the trade size for plumbers and maintenance teams who do many joints, and lasts far longer than the small 12mm rolls.

Wrap it clockwise, looking at the end of the thread, so tightening the fitting does not unwind it, and overlap each turn by half. Five to eight turns suit most water fittings.
