Pratley Quickset Putty is a fast-setting, hand-mouldable two-part epoxy putty for filling, sealing and rebuilding metal, concrete, stone and most rigid materials.
Description
Pratley Quickset Putty is the faster-curing version of the original Pratley Putty. Knead equal lengths of the resin and hardener sticks together until the colour is even. Pratley gives about 8 minutes to apply it; it sets hard in about 20 minutes at 23°C and reaches full strength in about 6 hours.
Once set it can be sawn, filed, drilled, sanded and painted. It also sets under water, although the standard Pratley Putty is easier to apply under water.
Used for:
- Sealing leaking metal tanks, gutters and pipes
- Mending roof tiles and concrete garden furniture
- Rebuilding broken castings, knobs and handles
Apply at least 3mm thick; not for thin glue lines.
