Meranti Half Round Moulding 19mm x 3m

Description

Half-round has a flat back and a rounded face, so it sits flat against a surface and finishes an edge neatly. Meranti is a reddish-brown hardwood that takes stain and varnish well. The 19 mm is the nominal width; check the actual size before buying for an exact fit.

Cut it with a fine-toothed saw and mitre box, then fix with panel pins and wood glue. Punch the pins below the surface, fill the holes and sand before finishing.

Used for:

• Edging shelves and table tops
• Covering joints between boards or panels
• Trimming cupboards and furniture
