Medal Water-Based Primer, Red Oxide

Description

A water-based red oxide primer from Medal Paints for bare steel and iron. Because it is water-based it has a low odour, is easier to use indoors and in closed garages than a solvent primer, and brushes and rollers clean up in water.

The 1L tin covers a gate, a set of burglar bars or small fittings; the 5L tin is the size for palisade fencing, carports, roof steelwork or a full set of security gates. Remove rust and flaking paint, clean and dry the surface, then brush or roll on and top-coat with a suitable enamel once dry.

• Steel gates, palisades and burglar bars
• Carports, roof steel and iron fittings
• Steelwork before enamel top coats
