Matweld 2.5 mm general-purpose mild steel electrodes, AWS E6013, for AC or DC arc welding.
Description
General-purpose E6013 rutile electrodes for mild steel. They strike easily, run on AC or DC and weld in all positions, so they suit small inverter welders on home and farm jobs. 2.5 mm suits thin to medium steel at roughly 60-90 A (typical).
Keep rods dry; damp rods spatter and give porous welds.
Used for:
- Gates, burglar bars and security doors
- Trailer and farm repairs
- Tack, fillet and butt welds on light steel
Not for stainless or cast iron; use the matching electrode.
Pack as listed. Store sealed in a dry place.
