Description

A threaded insert that screws into a pilot hole in timber or chipboard to give a metal thread for a bolt, so parts can be taken apart and reassembled.

Drill the pilot hole to the recommended size and drive the insert in squarely with a hex key or screwdriver. Check the size against the existing part before buying.
