Self-drilling hex-head Tek screws, 5.5mm with a coarse thread, for fixing into timber purlins and battens. Sold each in 20mm and 60mm.
Description
A Tek screw drills its own hole and fixes in one step. The coarse thread is made for biting into timber.
Drive with an 8mm nut setter on a drill. The 60mm length suits sheeting over timber; the 20mm suits brackets and thin material.
Used for:
- Fixing roof sheeting to timber purlins
- Fixing flashings and cappings
- Brackets and straps on timber
- General timber fixing
For steel purlins use a fine-thread Tek screw.
Sold each. Add bonded washers for a watertight roof fixing.
