M8 tee nut, 13mm barrel, for a threaded socket in timber and board.
Description
A tee nut is hammered into a drilled hole in timber or board to give a strong metal thread for a bolt, as used in furniture, cabinets and climbing walls.
Drill the hole to the barrel diameter from the back face and tap the nut in until the prongs bite. Check the size against the existing part before buying.
