Description

A thicker, heavy-pattern rubber washer for 22mm (3/4″) taps and stop valves. Heavy pattern washers last longer under mains pressure.

Turn off the water, open the headpart and swap the washer.

Always turn off the water at the main first. Take the old washer along if you are unsure of the size or pattern; heavy pattern is the usual choice for outside taps.

Used for:

• Fixing dripping 22mm garden and bib taps
• Servicing stopcocks and gate-type valves
• Maintenance spares
• Fixing dripping outside taps on the main line

Not for ceramic-disc taps.
