Description

A straight coupler with a 15mm end for copper pipe and a 1/2″ male (MI) thread on the other, used to connect copper lines to taps, valves, geyser fittings and female-threaded fittings. It is a common fitting when changing from copper to galvanised or brass threaded work.

Seal the thread with PTFE tape or paste, make the copper joint as the fitting requires and check for leaks under pressure.

• Connecting copper to threaded fittings
• Tap and valve connections
