Description
A speed clip is a spring steel clip that slides over the edge of a sheet metal panel or into a square hole and acts as a nut for a self-tapping screw. It is the quick way to fix trim, panels, number plates, mud flaps, ducting and appliance covers to thin sheet without welding in a nut, and the spring grip helps stop screws vibrating loose.
Match the clip to the screw size. Push the clip fully onto the panel edge before driving the screw.
