Description

A 5-piece set of screw extractors for removing screws, bolts and studs that have snapped off or have stripped heads. Each extractor has a tapered left-hand spiral that bites tighter as it is turned anticlockwise into a drilled pilot hole, unscrewing the broken piece. We also sell extractors singly.

Centre-punch the broken screw, drill a pilot hole of the size marked for the extractor, then turn the extractor slowly anticlockwise with a tap wrench. Do not force it, as a snapped extractor is very hard to remove.
