A PVC box with lid that is set in the ground over a stopcock, meter or valve, so it stays protected and easy to reach.

Set the box level with the finished ground on a bed of gravel for drainage, and keep the lid clear so the valve can be found quickly in an emergency. Check the size against your existing fitting or take the old part with you when buying.
