PVC screw terminal strip connector (choc block), rated 3A, 6A, 15A or 30A, for joining and extending electrical conductors.
Description
A strip connector is a row of screw terminals in a PVC housing. Each terminal joins two conductors, and the strip can be cut into single pieces or groups as needed.
Pick a rating at or above the circuit current and a terminal size that suits the conductor. Tighten the screws firmly on bare copper only, and house the joint in a junction box or enclosure.
Used for:
- Joining conductors in light fittings
- Junction boxes and appliance repairs
- Low-voltage and garden lighting
