Screw-type PVC strap-on boss for adding a waste branch to an existing soil pipe.
Description
A strap-on boss clamps around an existing soil pipe so a new waste connection can be added without cutting in a junction; this one fixes with screws. We also stock 110 x 50mm strap-on bosses. PVC soil and vent (SV) fittings are used for waste and drain lines above and below ground.
Cut pipe square, deburr, dry-fit and then solvent-weld with PVC cement, or use the rubber-ring joint where fitted. Support pipes close to fittings.
Used for:
- Adding basin and shower wastes to a stack
- Washing machine wastes
- Alterations to existing soil pipes
