15mm (1/2″) plastic backnut for locking tank connectors, float valves and tap tails.
Description
A plastic backnut for 15mm (1/2″) BSP threads. It screws onto the tail of a tank connector, float valve or tap from the inside or underside of the tank or basin and clamps the fitting tight. Plastic will not rust in cisterns and tanks. We also stock 3/4″ plastic and brass backnuts.
Fit a washer for the seal and tighten firmly without cracking the nut.
Used for:
- Tank and cistern connectors
- Float valves
- Tap tails on plastic basins
