KonstruktIt Plumber’s Hemp

Description

Hemp is the traditional way to seal threaded water and steam fittings, especially larger or worn threads where tape is not enough.

Tease out a thin strand, wind it clockwise into the threads, apply jointing paste over it, then screw the fitting together. Use only a little, so it does not push into the pipe bore.

Used for:

• Galvanised and brass threaded fittings
• Worn or coarse threads
• Older plumbing repairs

Not for gas fittings unless approved.

Sold per pack.
