Description
Mutton cloth is a soft, stretchy knitted cotton cloth that absorbs well and leaves little lint. Painters and woodworkers use it to wipe on stains, oils and polish, and to wipe surfaces clean before finishing.
Spread cloths soaked in oil or solvent flat to dry outdoors before disposal, as they can self-ignite.
Used for:
- Applying wood stain, oil and polish
- Wiping down before painting or varnishing
- Polishing cars and furniture
