Description

A replacement striking plate (strike plate) for mortice door locks, chrome plated. It sits in the door frame opposite the lock and the latch and deadbolt shoot into it, so a worn or bent plate makes the door hard to close or lock.

Compare the old plate size and hole spacing before you buy, then chisel the frame recess so the new plate sits flush.

Used for:

• Replacing a worn or bent strike plate
• Fitting a new mortice lock
• Fixing doors that will not latch
