Description
A 3-piece hand tap set for cutting M5 x 0.8 internal threads. Hand tap sets are normally used in order, starting with the most tapered tap and finishing with the one that cuts to the bottom of a blind hole. Also useful for cleaning up damaged M5 threads.
Drill a 4.2mm tapping hole, use cutting oil, and turn half a turn forward and a quarter back to break the chips. A tap wrench is needed and is sold separately.
